  • The average SAT score of freshmen entering the College of Engineering (COE) in the fall of 2007 was 1358.
  • In Fall 2007, 7,340 undergraduate and 3,559 graduate students were enrolled full-time in COE.
  • 1894 undergraduate engineering students participated in the co-op program during the fall of 2007, representing roughly 81% of the total participants, and 25% of all full-time engineering undergraduate students enrolled in COE. 630 students are enrolled in the Undergraduate Professional Internship Program.
  • In the academic year 2006-2007, the College conferred 1,475 Bachelor’s degrees, 747 Master’s degrees, and 336 Ph.D. degrees.
  • 63 men and 31 women from the College of Engineering actively participate in NCAA Division-I sports (ACC Conference).
  • The College of Engineering has 169 Georgia Tech Presidential Scholars.
  • 56% of the GT band are engineering majors.
  • 58% of the members of Greek organizations are engineering majors
