- The average SAT score of freshmen entering the College of Engineering (COE) in the fall of 2008 was 1,371.
- In Fall 2008, 7,507 undergraduate and 3,572 graduate students were enrolled in COE.
- In the academic year 2007-2008, the college conferred 1,471 bachelor’s degrees, 895 master’s degrees, and 310 doctoral degrees.
- 1,943 undergraduate engineering students participated in the co-op program during the fall of 2008, representing roughly 78% of the total participants, and 25% of all full-time engineering undergraduate students enrolled in COE. 791 students are enrolled in the Undergraduate Professional Internship Program.
- 83 men and 39 women from the College of Engineering actively participate in NCAA Division-I sports (ACC Conference).
- The College of Engineering has 180 Georgia Tech Presidential Scholars.
- 57% of the GT band are engineering majors.
- 58% of the members of Greek organizations are engineering majors.
- 50% of PURAs (President’s Undergraduate Research Awards) awarded in 2008 went to the College of Engineering.
