Licensure
ENGINEERING LICENSURE (P.E.)
The engineering profession regulates itself by setting high standards for professional engineers, and by law, many jurisdictions require engineers to be licensed in order to practice. Becoming licensed as a professional engineer (P.E.) demonstrates your accomplishment of these high standards, and provides career options and opportunities that might not be available otherwise

E.I.T. EXAM (ENGINEER-IN-TRAINING)
One of the most important decisions an engineering student will make as a senior is whether or not to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (also known as E-I-T) Examination. Students within two semesters of graduation may take the F.E. exam, which covers mathematics, physics, chemistry, and engineering sciences. The F.E. exam is valid in all 50 states, D.C., and most U.S. possessions.
