Vision & Mission
The vision of the Diversity and Outreach Office in the College of Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology is to be the national standard for enrollment and graduation rates of underrepresented talent at the undergraduate and graduate levels in engineering.
The Office of Diversity and Outreach mission is two-fold:
- To innovatively attract, retain, and empower undergraduate and graduate underrepresented talent in engineering at Georgia Tech
- To increase awareness about engineering to the K-12 arena and underrepresented groups
The office works in collaboration with many departments and offices at Georgia Tech as well as with minority institutions, majority institutions, and corporations in assisting underrepresented students to attain their academic, career and personal aspirations.
