FIRST LEGO LEAGUE SUMMER CAMP

A robot built at the FIRST Lego League The Georgia Tech Women in Engineering Program and the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering are hosting a week-long FIRST Lego League (FLL) summer camp for middle school girls.

FIRST, the acronym representing “For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology” is an innovative program sponsored by the LEGO Company.  The vision of this program, as stated by its founder, Dean Kamen is "To create a world where science and technology are celebrated...where young people dream of becoming science and technology heroes."


Students participating in the FIRST Lego League The FIRST LEGO League (FLL)  is an international robotics program that ignites an enthusiasm for discovery, science, and technology. Every year hundreds of middle schools from throughout Georgia participate in FLL, held on the Georgia Tech campus.
