The Spring ’08 Engineering Advisory Board (EAB) met in Puerto Rico on April 24th & 25th.  Close to 200 people attended a reception Thursday evening to hear speeches from Dean Don Giddens and Meade Sutterfield, chair of the Alumni Association.  The event culminated in the announcement of a new slate of officers for the Puerto Rican Alumni Club.   On Friday, after a full day of board meeting discussions on diversity, Federico Stubbe hosted an evening tour of the Castillo del Morro and a traditional Puerto Rican dinner at Banco Popular in Old El San Juan.  Members staying Saturday toured Arecibo (Puerto Rico’s radiotelescope) and lunched/golfed at Dorado Beach Resort as guests of Mr. Stubbe.
