Faculty Research Awards Presented

The College of Engineering congratulates Dr. W. Alan Doolittle and Dr. Ali Adibi on receiving 2008 Faculty Research Awards at Georgia Tech.

Dr.Ali Adibi

Dr. Doolittle is an associate professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and was awarded the Outstanding Achievement in Research Program Development award. During his time at Georgia Tech he has helped develop academic programs in the areas of microelectronic fabrication, materials growth and measurement system design. Dr. Doolittle came to Georgia Tech in 2001.

Dr. Adibi, associate professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, was presented with the Outstanding Faculty Leadership for the Development of Graduate Research Assistants award. Dr. Adibi is the director for the Center for Advanced Processing-tools for Electromagnetic/acoustics Xtals (APEX) at Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Adibi has a wide range of research interests in both theoretical and experimental aspects of photonic devices and materials. He joined the COE faculty in 2000.
